Business Card Find of the Decade!

On Sept. 7, 2002, I found a package tied to my mailbox.  To my delight, it was a belated birthday present from my friend and fellow business card collector, Betty Crow [now departed and deeply missed].  Betty had arranged to have John Haffner send me a box of "Walter Day" cards.  And what a wonderful present was waiting inside...

I had planned to set the box aside for some "browsing" later in the evening, but when I grabbed it by the end, a bunch of cards slid out...a good excuse to sort through those, rather than put them back in the box.  After a few minutes of sifting through cards from what appeared to be every physician in Massachusetts, a beautiful logo caught my eye:

Coincidentally, one of the first autographed business cards I ever requested was from Dennis Tito, the first "space tourist."  The House hearings on space travel included testimony from both Dr. Aldrin and Mr. Tito.
